Scores of people filled the courtroom yesterday to get a glimpse of Ramnarine, of Bath Settlement, West Coast Berbice.

Police Sergeant Satrohan Dayaram, prosecuting, successfully applied for an adjournment to July 28 when the case file is expected to be complete.
However, on the departure of the again remanded prisoner, relatives of the victim were overwhelmed with emotion after seeing the person who allegedly snuffed out the life of Roshni also known as Indira.

The teen was discovered dead on a bed in the house where she kept the company of a 65-year-old neighbour at nights.
